It was about a year and a half ago when I realized I was doing my eye makeup ALL WRONG. Sure, there is probably no true wrong way to do your eye makeup but if there was, I had nailed it. Who puts eyeliner UNDER their eyeshadow? Me. It was me. Learn from my mistakes. Step 1. don’t put your eye liner under your eyeshadow.

Today, I’m sharing a really easy eye shadow tutorial that even the eye makeup challenged can do easily. It uses the Velvet Eyeshadow Palette in Romantic which has beautiful neutral shades of pinks, purples and grays. It I find that the romantic palette is the one that I reach for the most on an everyday basis. There are a few darker shades and the middle is a silvery shimmer (if you’re thinking glitter, just no.) so you can use for both a day and nighttime look.
