I don’t know about you, but every day I’m always rushed getting ready. I’m usually running back and forth between getting myself ready, getting my son ready, letting the dogs out, getting breakfast ready, the list goes on. This also makes me realize I probably need to invest in some dry shampoo! We’ll have to cover that topic another time.

There are 2 reasons why I love the makeup routine I’m going to share with you. 1) It’s quick and easy. Seriously, it will take you 5 minutes to do. You don’t have to know anything about make up or be a pro makeup artist, anyone can pick it up easly. 2) You still look like you! Just a more put together version of yourself. Embrace your beauty. 3) Yes, I know I didn’t say there was going to be a 3 but it uses high quality SAFER makeup. You don’t have to worry about any toxic chemicals or heavy metals with this set.

Let’s dive into the details. We call this routine the flawless in five and it’s 6 products bundled together for $150. This makes it really easy to clean out your bag – both for cleaner, safer makeup and replacing old products! I’m going to introduce you to each of the items and at the bottom I’ll show you how to put it all together for a five minute flawless look. Scroll all the way to the bottom for the full makeup tutorial.

STEP 1: base

First up is your base. There are 2 options: Tint skin or dew skin

Dew skin Is a tinted moisturizer with SPF 20. It is moisturizing and provides a light coverage. I find it’s just enough coverage to even out your skin tone but still look really really natural. It’s going to have more of a dewy sheen to it. I wear dew skin every day and is my go to! 5 shades available (I wear #2)

Tint Skin is a true foundation that is really natural and feels like your skin can actually breathe when you have it on! If you prefer to have a little more coverage, Tint Skin will be your product of choice. It’s buildable but NOT cakey or heavy. One of the best foundations I’ve used! 10 shades available (I wear sand but linen works too for me)

Many people layer dew skin under tint since dew skin has many qualities of a BB cream. Or, if you want SPF + more coverage, dew skin & tint skin is also a winner.

STEP 2: concealer

Are you a mom? Do you work? Do you have pets? Are you just living life? Are you all of the above? Concealer is a MUST! Concealer is going to help brighten under the eyes and help conceal dark/tired eyes. You can also use it on blemishes or any areas that just need a little extra love. The Beautycounter touch-up concealer pen has just the right amount of coverage and knotgrass extract to reduce the appearance of fine lines and photoaging

Remember, Tint skin or Dew skin first THEN concealer. (Yea I used to do this backwards). Make a triangle type shape under each eye then blend with your ring finger. I use a [affiliate link] mini real techniques sponge to blend.

STEP 3: Brows

Brows shape your face and really helps with a polished put together look.

2 choices for your brows: brow gel or brow pencil
Both are a great option. You can use them both together or use each one individually. The brow pencil is going to help fill in where brows are really sparse and the brow gel is going to help add a little bit of color fullness and help shape brows.

I personally love the brow gel but, as you can see, I have used the brow pencil a lot too. Even though half my brows are sparse I think that the brow gel does a great job of grabbing on to each individual hair and helps define the brows that are there!

STEP 4: Mascara

Mascara, we love you. Similar to brows mascara and really help brighten your face and help define your eyes. I find mascara really helps my eyes pop!

2 options for mascara: volumizing and lengthening.

Both stay put, don’t flake and come off when I’m ready to remove my makeup. Lengthening is more of an everyday and volumizing is a little more bold. Personally, volumizing is my go to and I use it everyday!

STEP 5: Blush

I love blush. I love how it adds some color to your cheeks and makes you look a little more…alive

Smile and apply to the apples of your cheeks.

These blushes are super pigmented so you get great payoff and performance. Bonus high performing AND safer: often times blushes contain heavy metals. They aren’t added intentionally but we third-party test all raw ingredients for contamination AND we batch test all finished products.

STEP 6: Lip gloss

Glosses are going to help finish your look and sometimes a lip can make all the difference.

These lip glosses are NOT sticky, have a hint of {natural} vanilla and are very moisturizing. They come in 12 shades.

Also, let’s think about this. Lip gloss is actually a product you are EATING. So if you’re going to eat your lip gloss, it might as well be good for you. Some lip glosses are made with butylated hydroxytoluene, or BHT, a toluene (aka paint thinner)-based preservative and fragrance ingredient that is linked to cancer and organ toxicity? (Not ours – BHT is on our Never List!)
